Questions
Is hosting cheaper than running my own mining site?
For a few machines, almost always: a host spreads rent, staff, transformers and cooling across many customers. Running your own site starts to pay when you have enough machines to cover fixed costs and can get power several cents below hosting rates.
What does an all-in hosting rate include?
Usually power, cooling, rack space, internet and on-site staff for basic repairs, quoted per kWh. Some hosts add a monthly fee per machine, a setup fee or a deposit; enter those separately.
What is a typical hosting rate?
Most offers fall between 6 and 9 cents per kWh all-in; the median of the hosting offers listed on CryptoSites.io is shown above the hosting fields.
What does it cost to build my own site?
On land with power, containers or buildings, transformers and cabling typically cost $100 to $300 per kW, plus rent or the land itself, and staff.
