Alephium ALPH
blake3Refreshed every 15 min
Alephium launched in November 2021 as a sharded proof-of-work blockchain with smart contracts. Its mining is built to use less energy per transaction, and supply is capped at 1 billion ALPH.

Mining this coin: FAQ
Is Alephium mining profitable right now?
At 5¢/kWh the most profitable Alephium miner today, the IceRiver ALPH AL0, earns about $0.1 a day and burns $0.12 of electricity, leaving about $0 a day. 0 of 13 Blake3 miners we track are profitable at that price. Set your own power price above and the whole page recalculates.
What is the best miner for Alephium?
Ranked by profit per day at 5¢/kWh: IceRiver ALPH AL0 ($0/day, 400 GH/s at 100 W), IceRiver AL2 Lite ($0/day, 2 TH/s at 500 W), Goldshell AL-BOX ($0/day, 360 GH/s at 180 W). The most efficient machine we track is the Bitmain Antminer AL1 Pro (16.6Th) at 224.7 J/TH; cheap power favours raw hashrate, expensive power favours efficiency, so the order changes with your price.
At what electricity price does Alephium mining stop paying?
At today's price and difficulty the IceRiver ALPH AL0 breaks even at about 4.2¢ per kWh: above that it costs more to run than it earns. Pool fees (usually 1-4%), cooling and any hosting margin come on top, so plan with a buffer. Of the 13 machines we track, 5 are in profit at 3¢/kWh, 0 at 6¢ and 0 at 10¢, which is why miners chase cheap power.
How much ALPH does one miner make per day?
The IceRiver ALPH AL0, at 400 GH/s, mines about 1.483 ALPH a day today, worth $0.1. That is 0.0072% of the network's 5.54 PH/s. The whole network mints about 23,462 ALPH a day ($1,582), and every miner earns its share of hashrate.
Should I mine Alephium solo or in a pool?
On its own, one IceRiver ALPH AL0 would find an Alephium block about once every 2 hours on average, and luck can stretch that a long way. With blocks this frequent, even a single machine gets regular rewards; pools still smooth the payouts. FPPS and PPS+ pools pay a fixed amount per share (fees often 2-4%), PPLNS pools pay out only when the pool finds a block (often 0-2%, but lumpier).
How do Alephium's block rewards and supply work?
Right now each block pays about 0.144 ALPH including fees, with several blocks every second, about 23,462 ALPH a day. 121.04 million of the 1.00 billion maximum are already out (12%).
What hardware mines Blake3, and what matters when buying?
Alephium uses Blake3 on a sharded chain (16 chains across 4 groups). GPUs mined it first; ASICs (Goldshell AL series, Bitmain AL1) arrived in 2024. We track 13 Blake3 machines; judge them by J/TH (efficiency) against your power price, then by price per TH, cooling type and the warranty and repair options where you will run them.
How do I start mining Alephium?
Pick a machine for your power price (see the table above), then sort out power and cooling: most ASICs need 200-277 V at 10-30 A each, hydro models usually 380-415 V three-phase and a cooling loop, and air-cooled units are too loud for a home. Set up an Alephium wallet, point the machine at a pool, and watch temperatures in the first days. If you don't have cheap power and space, hosting is the usual route: a host runs the machine for an all-in price per kWh. CryptoSites.io lists both powered sites and hosting.

NewBitcoin Difficulty Is Down 15% From Its Peak. Should You Buy a Mining Site Now?
Lower difficulty means each machine earns more bitcoin. But difficulty follows hashrate, and hashrate can come back fast. Here's how to price a site on a range, not on today's number.

Where the World's Hashrate Is Moving in 2026 (and What It Means for Site Prices)
The network stopped shrinking in Q3 2026, but the map underneath it is still changing fast. Developed markets are giving up hashrate to AI, while a group of energy-rich countries keeps absorbing new machines.

Hashprice Near $40: Which Mining Sites Still Make Money (and Which Owners Will Sell)
At about $40 per PH per day, a fleet's efficiency sets a hard ceiling on the electricity cost it can afford. Here's where that ceiling sits, who is under pressure, and what it means for anyone buying a site.
