Grin GRIN
cuckatoo32Refreshed every 15 min
Grin launched in January 2019 as a minimal implementation of Mimblewimble, a privacy design that hides amounts and merges transactions to keep the chain small. It has no cap: one GRIN per second, forever.

Mining this coin: FAQ
Is Grin mining profitable right now?
At 5¢/kWh the most profitable Grin miner today, the iPollo G1, earns about $8.14 a day and burns $3.36 of electricity, leaving about $4.78 a day. 2 of 2 Cuckatoo32 miners we track are profitable at that price. Set your own power price above and the whole page recalculates.
What is the best miner for Grin?
Ranked by profit per day at 5¢/kWh: iPollo G1 ($4.78/day, 36 H/s at 2,800 W), iPollo G1 Mini ($0.126/day, 1.2 H/s at 120 W). The most efficient machine we track is the iPollo G1 at 77.8 J/H; cheap power favours raw hashrate, expensive power favours efficiency, so the order changes with your price.
At what electricity price does Grin mining stop paying?
At today's price and difficulty the iPollo G1 breaks even at about 12¢ per kWh: above that it costs more to run than it earns. Pool fees (usually 1-4%), cooling and any hosting margin come on top, so plan with a buffer. Of the 2 machines we track, 2 are in profit at 3¢/kWh, 2 at 6¢ and 1 at 10¢, which is why miners chase cheap power.
How much GRIN does one miner make per day?
The iPollo G1, at 36 H/s, mines about 833.2 GRIN a day today, worth $8.14. That is 0.92% of the network's 3.91 kH/s. The whole network mints about 84,984 GRIN a day ($830.29), and every miner earns its share of hashrate.
Should I mine Grin solo or in a pool?
On its own, one iPollo G1 would find a Grin block about once every 2 hours on average, and luck can stretch that a long way. With blocks this frequent, even a single machine gets regular rewards; pools still smooth the payouts. FPPS and PPS+ pools pay a fixed amount per share (fees often 2-4%), PPLNS pools pay out only when the pool finds a block (often 0-2%, but lumpier).
How do Grin's block rewards and supply work?
Right now each block pays about 60.0 GRIN including fees, with a block every 61 seconds on average, about 84,984 GRIN a day. About 98.21 million GRIN exist today and there is no hard cap. 60 GRIN per one-minute block forever, 86,400 GRIN a day, so inflation keeps falling as a share of supply.
What hardware mines Cuckatoo32, and what matters when buying?
Cuckatoo32 (Grin) asks the miner to find a cycle of 42 edges in a huge random graph. It is bound by memory speed, and was chosen to suit ASICs. Hashrate is counted in graphs per second. We track 2 Cuckatoo32 machines; judge them by J/H (efficiency) against your power price, then by price per H, cooling type and the warranty and repair options where you will run them.
Can I run a whole mining site on Grin?
Not on its own. Grin's whole network is about 3.91 kH/s, and one megawatt of iPollo G1 units would add 12.85 kH/s, several times the network. Difficulty would jump and the earnings shown here would melt away. Large sites point their machines at the biggest coin for the algorithm and treat small coins like Grin as a side bet for a few units.
How do I start mining Grin?
Pick a machine for your power price (see the table above), then sort out power and cooling: most ASICs need 200-277 V at 10-30 A each, hydro models usually 380-415 V three-phase and a cooling loop, and air-cooled units are too loud for a home. Set up a Grin wallet, point the machine at a pool, and watch temperatures in the first days. If you don't have cheap power and space, hosting is the usual route: a host runs the machine for an all-in price per kWh. CryptoSites.io lists both powered sites and hosting.

NewBitcoin Difficulty Is Down 15% From Its Peak. Should You Buy a Mining Site Now?
Lower difficulty means each machine earns more bitcoin. But difficulty follows hashrate, and hashrate can come back fast. Here's how to price a site on a range, not on today's number.

Where the World's Hashrate Is Moving in 2026 (and What It Means for Site Prices)
The network stopped shrinking in Q3 2026, but the map underneath it is still changing fast. Developed markets are giving up hashrate to AI, while a group of energy-rich countries keeps absorbing new machines.

Hashprice Near $40: Which Mining Sites Still Make Money (and Which Owners Will Sell)
At about $40 per PH per day, a fleet's efficiency sets a hard ceiling on the electricity cost it can afford. Here's where that ceiling sits, who is under pressure, and what it means for anyone buying a site.
